National Baseball Hall of Fame & Museum<\/h1>\n

On September 20-21, 2025, a group 40 BASE student-athletes and staff had the opportunity to visit the National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum<\/strong> in Cooperstown, NY, and play on historic Doubleday Field. The players had an unforgettable weekend of baseball history and team bonding in a picturesque setting, all made possible through the support of our friends at the Yawkey Foundation<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Hall of Fame staff provided BASE youth a guided tour of the museum, including the powerful exhibit, \u201cThe Souls of the Game: Voices of Black Baseball”<\/a>,<\/strong>\u00a0which debuted in 2024. The exhibit explores the early history of Black baseball players, the success of the Negro Leagues, and the eventual reintegration of the sport. Our student-athletes were moved by the experience and gained a deeper understanding of baseball\u2019s complex history, shaped within the context of America\u2019s larger historical challenges and triumphs.<\/p>\n

This was an experience our young people will never forget – Thank You\u00a0to the Yawkey Foundation and National Baseball Hall of Fame!<\/strong><\/p>\n
