At The BASE, we believe in the power of sports to develop young women and men, to bring families together across artificial barriers of demographic differences, and to build community. This is the Power of Sports<\/strong>. This is the foundation of The BASE.<\/p>\n Beyond the games, the act of playing organized sports serves as a means of engaging young people and allowing them to challenge themselves. With coaching and training, they see what they are capable of individually – but more importantly, what can be accomplished when they work as a team. Our model is built around these experiences and the lessons they provide.
